Well, while we've lost all our video from this year, we've made a deal with a new video editor/camera man.  Mr. William Schutz of Corpus Christi, Texas will be bringing nearly 20 years of filming and video editing to our team.  We are very excited to get started on some new video for everyone.  Tips, how-to's, and some fishing video will be on it's way over the next two to four weeks.  We are very excited to finally get a resolution to this.  So, please welcome William to the Team Castaway family.

As a news update, the new tournament boat is sitting at Kresta's Marine in Edna, Texas, awaiting all of the rigging and accessories for installation.  We were hoping to get the boat up and running to be debuted at the upcoming Majek Owner's Tournament on August 14, 2010 at Robert's Point Pavilion in Port Aransas, TX.  We've been sort of snake bit recently with the majority of the rigging equipment being on back order.  We are starting to slowly receive items in now.  We are hoping to get solidly underway on the rigging on Monday, August 9, 2010.  If all goes well, the new tournament boat will be debuted at the Texas Redfish Series Championship in Port Lavaca on August 21, 2010.

The Majek Owner's Tournament is August 14, 2010 at Robert's Point Pavilion in Port Aransas, TX.  This is a really large and fun tournament for everyone.  I will be there to help with the event.  Castaway Graphite Rods and Bass Assassin have sent rods and hundreds of soft plastics to me to donate to the tournament.  The Majek family will including these items into the prize packages.  Did I mention that the Majek family puts out some of the best food at the captain's meeting!  Not only can they build one hell of a boat, they sure know how to cook.  I hope to see you all there.  For more information on the Majek Owner's Tournament, please go to www.majekownerstournament.com
